A Summer Festival providing universal access & the chance to play side-by-side with world class musicians

Formerly COJAC, the California Orchestra Academy will focus on a different theme each year, combining a premier orchestral experience with mentorship, conducting fellowships, masterclasses, leadership training, and more for participants of all backgrounds.

COA faculty and Festival Orchestra players hail from professional orchestras and top universities around the country, and perform side-by-side with Academy participants.

All Academy programming, housing, and meals will take place on campus at California State University Monterey Bay.

Open to ages 14 - 24; full scholarships available to qualified participants.
